Nani stepped into the HIT franchise with its third installment, HIT: The 3rd Case, which is being described as the most violent entry in the HITverse so far.
While the first two films in the franchise were gripping investigative thrillers, the third installment amps up the intensity.
Speaking about the film, Nani says, "HIT: The 3rd Case isn’t your typical thriller. It’s a stylish, highly relatable, and unique crime story. The violent moments are not inserted for shock value—they're deeply rooted in the narrative. Once you watch the film, you’ll understand why the brutality feels so organic."
Despite its darker tone, the film is seeing strong advance bookings, a rarity for crime thrillers that often struggle to attract family audiences. “I don’t usually track numbers,” Nani admits, “but it’s heartening to see the impressive pre-release sales.”
Nani also praised key members of the crew, especially cinematographer Sanu John Varghese and composer Mickey J Meyer. “Sanu is a storyteller through his lens—his visuals add emotional depth to the film. And Mickey, despite this being his first time scoring a thriller, brought a fresh and unexpected sound to HIT 3.”
He was equally appreciative of actress Sreenidhi Shetty’s performance. “Every character in this film plays an important role, and Sreenidhi delivered hers beautifully. I can’t reveal too much about her character yet, but she was incredibly committed and supportive throughout.”
Nani also highlighted an unexpected side of director Sailesh Kolanu. “Despite making intense, gritty thrillers, Sailesh is one of the funniest people I know. He’s constantly cracking jokes. I keep telling him he should try his hand at comedy—he’d be amazing at it.”
HIT: The 3rd Case hits theatres tomorrow, riding high on anticipation and early buzz.
