HIT 3 Doesn't Glorify Violence, Story Demanded It

Natural Star Nani played most ruthless character yet in HIT: The 3rd Case slated for release on May 1st.

As the promos have hinted, the film is packed with high-octane action and a significant dose of violence. However, in an exclusive interview with us, Nani clarified that the violence isn’t there for shock value—it’s deeply rooted in the story.

“HIT 3 is an investigative thriller at its core. Yes, there’s violence, and quite a lot of it, especially leading up to the climax. But there’s a strong reason behind it. We didn’t include violence to glorify it or just for effect. The story demanded it.”

Nani also mentioned that the promotional content is designed to prepare audiences for what to expect.

“We’ve been careful with the promos. They’re intense because the film is. We want people to know that they’re stepping into something gripping, high on action, and driven by a solid investigation- just like the first two parts, but even more intense.”

Interestingly, Nani reveals that HIT 3 story wasn’t ready when HIT 2 was being made. “We didn’t have a story ready for HIT 3 while working on HIT 2. Sailesh wanted a big moment in the second part, so I agreed to do a cameo. Back then, we were only discussing my character. The plan was to take 2–3 years before returning to the franchise. But due to delays in one of my other projects—and because Sailesh’s narration really excited me—I decided to go ahead with HIT 3.”

Looking ahead, Nani says he doesn’t want to stick to any one genre. “I want to try everything. However, I have this desire to do an epic film like Gladiator.”

He also confirmed that after The Paradise, he will be teaming up with director Sujeeth, who is expected to wrap up OG with Pawan Kalyan before their collaboration begins.
