Roshan Kanakala, son of Rajeev Kanakala and Suma Kanakala, is making his debut with a GenZ love story Bubblegum which is slated for release on the 29th of this month.
The young chap in his interview with us reveals that he has had a passion for acting since he turned 13.
“I spent my childhood in my grandparents' acting school. I enjoyed doing ads with my mother. I attended acting classes at my grandpa's. I was his last student. I learned different aspects of acting at him. I also took acting classes in other places as well.”
Roshan stated that he is ready to do different kinds of roles, rather than sticking to lead actor roles.
“If something excites me, I’ve no qualms to play other roles other than lead actor.”
He says he got connected to the story and the character immediately when he first listened to it.
“Ravikanth is a kind of filmmaker, who wishes to make films with actors who are apt for the characters in his stories. Perhaps, he felt I would fit into the role I played in Bubblegum. I can relate many aspects of the character with my own character.”
Roshan informs Bubblegum is primarily a love story.
“There are points that are relatable to everyone. There are good dose emotions as well. There’s a high intense moment in the interval which in my opinion no one touched that space.”
The actor says his parents have watched the movie and they loved it.
“At one point, Nana turned emotional and cried to a scene. My mom also loved it.”
Maheshwari Movies, in association with People Media Factory, produced the movie, where Maanasa Choudhary played the heroine.
