Ranbir Kapoor expressed in an interview with the BBC that the profession of acting is not as glamorous as it appears to be from the outside.
He implied that actors are often unhappy and pained, despite the external perception of fame and fortune.
Kapoor further elaborated on his statement, suggesting that actors are often deprived of basic necessities, such as the food they want to eat, due to the demands of their profession.
The pressure to maintain a certain physique and appearance can lead to unhealthy eating habits, and actors often have to follow strict diets to stay in shape for their roles.
In his words he said- "Actors are starving humans. They're unhappy because they don't get...food they want to eat,. If I wasn't...actor, I wouldn't care if I put on weight...everybody should be healthy...But you should also enjoy...life little bit".
In essence, while acting may seem like an enviable profession, the reality is that it often requires sacrifices that can take a toll on an actor's mental and physical well-being, according to Ranbir.
