In their desperate quest for coverage and virality, PROs and filmmakers are sometimes encouraging these practices.
However, these lewd questions have been met with strong disapproval from the actors themselves.
During an interview with a YouTuber, actress Hebah Patel took a stand against such behavior.
The interview hadn’t even started properly when the male anchor, in a suggestive manner, asked if she was "in the mood" to "start".
Recognizing the inappropriate innuendo, Hebah chose not to respond. However, the anchor persisted, rephrasing the question in different ways.
Fed up with the disrespectful tone, Hebah decided to walk out of the interview, refusing to engage in such conversations. This incident occurred while she was promoting her new web series, "The Great Indian Suicide".
This unfortunate incident wasn't the first time Hebah faced such behavior.
Previously, at a restaurant launch, a YouTuber had introduced her with an inappropriate comment, implying she was there not just to enjoy the spread but also to “spread her beauty”. Upset by this comment, she refused to speak to him.
These incidents highlight the urgent need for more respectful and professional conduct in media interactions.
