Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda’s film is turning into a big-budgeted movie.
It was originally planned as a medium-range movie but now Puri has got confidence to make it a multi-lingual big-budgeted movie as Bollywood leading producer Karan Johar has come forward to associate with it. The film’s Hindi version will be released by Karan Johar.
Karan Johar has also made Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor sign the movie. If reports from Bollywood are to be believed, Janhi might sign on the dotted line this week. Karan has convinced her to do this movie.
Initially, Puri wanted either Kiara or Janhvi. Kiara is busy with multiple movies in Bollywood and Jahnvi was in two minds to do this movie.
When Karan has agreed to join hands with Puri Jagannadh, he reportedly convinced Jahnvi since he introduced her as the heroine in his production.
‘Fighter’ is set in the backdrop of Mumbai and the film is all about a boxing champion. Puri’s team is now scouting for locations in Mumbai, Hyderabad and other places.
The boxing drama will start rolling next month. Puri Jagannadh and Charmee will produce it while Mani Sharma will lend his tunes.
