Harish Shankar's Self-Defense And Delusion

Harish Shankar's Self-Defense And Delusion

Director Harish Shankar continues to hold media meets and so-called success parties, but his statements seem more focused on defending himself than on accepting responsibility.

Yesterday, he addressed fans, but it felt more like a damage control attempt following what is one of Ravi Teja's biggest career flops.

Harish claimed that the heroine's skin show was limited to the songs and that in the rest of the film, she wore sarees and half-sarees. However, the way the sarees were draped, revealing more skin, is the real issue.

He also argued that he's being unfairly targeted as the director responsible for Ravi Teja's flop, despite recent failures from other directors.

Comparing his situation to directors of other flops like Ravanasura, Khiladi, and Rama Rao On Duty is flawed. Those films were directed by lesser-known directors, so expectations were lower.

In contrast, Harish, known for hits like Gabbar Singh and Gaddalakonda Ganesh, had much higher expectations placed on him.

Fans hoped he would revive Ravi Teja's career, but the film ended up being outdated, predictable, and lacking originality, leading to disappointment and trolling.

Instead of acknowledging this, Harish blames others and claims to be unfairly targeted, which seems like self-delusion.

Fans expected more from him, and the backlash reflects their frustration with a missed opportunity rather than just another flop.
