“Virupaksha” was the original title that Krish had come up with for his period drama starring Pawan Kalyan. But the fans felt it is too classy.
It was then Krish had shortlisted various titles that include “Bandipotu”, “Hara Hara Mahadev”, and “Veeramallu”. Some of these titles were also registered at Film Chamber.
Given the fact that Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party has an alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party and he has been professing right-wing ideology, Krish wants to cash in on this mood.
He has apparently mixed two titles – “Hara Hara Mahadev” and “Veeramallu” to come up with the final title: “Hara Hara Veeramallu”.
This title will be announced on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. Pawan Kalyan is a thief in the film. Set in the 17th century, the film is produced by AM Ratnam.
