Director Prasanth Varma and Teja Sajja's magnum opus Hanu-Man is refusing to slow down at the box office.
The superhero movie got solid numbers even during weekdays in domestic and overseas markets. The second Saturday's numbers are bigger than the first Saturday.
As is known, the makers pledged to donate Rs 5 from each ticket sold to the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The consecration ceremony of the temple will be held on January 22.
They previously donated Rs 14,85,810 from the 2,97,162 tickets sold from the premiere shows of the movie.
The makers have now announced a donation of Rs 2,66,41,055 from 53,28,211 tickets sold till date.
The movie produced by K Niranjan Reddy managed to shatter many box office records and the bookings are super strong for Sunday everywhere. Hanu-Man is expected to end up as one of the biggest earners.
The makers must be appreciated for this noble gesture and for keeping their promise of donating from each ticket sold.
