Raj Tarun who once hailed as the most bankable star in Tollywood is now struggling to score a hit. The low phase, however, has not dampened his spirits.
“I am enjoying the moment. People may think that I am low because a couple of films didn’t click at the box-office but I have a good line-up. Scripts that excited me as an actor are in my kitty. I enjoy the process of filmmaking and acting,” he said.
Then why has he started doing special poojas and wearing the sapphire black ring?
“I am an agnostic person but if somebody asks me to wear a ring, I don’t mind. It is my director’s friend who gave me this ring. He believes that it would do good for the movie’s prospects. I don’t mind that,” he reasoned.
Raj Tarun also turned very lean. “I have not lost weight but am working on fitness,” he said.
“Orey Bujjigaa” is his upcoming release. Directed by Konda Vijay Kumar and produced by KK Radha Mohan, the film has been postponed from its scheduled release date (March 25).
The new release date is yet to be announced. Raj Tarun said he didn’t interfere in the director’s work or alter the script.
