Gopichand and Prabhas are the closest of friends. Their bond began when they acted together in Varsham twenty years ago, where Prabhas played the protagonist and Gopichand portrayed the antagonist.
Today, Prabhas is one of India’s biggest stars, while Gopichand remains a popular actor in Tollywood.
There have been rumors that the two will reunite on screen soon.
Addressing these speculations during a media interaction to promote his upcoming release Viswam, Gopichand stated that nothing concrete has been planned for their collaboration yet.
“I understand that fans are eagerly waiting for a movie featuring Prabhas and me. We definitely have to do a film together, but everything has to fall into place. We will certainly work together when the right project comes along,” he clarified.
Gopichand also mentioned that he would be willing to take on a negative role again, but only for his friend Prabhas.
