In an exclusive chit chat with greatandhra.com, actor Gopichand shared many interesting things about his upcoming film of this week "Seetimaar".
Saying about the beginning of the film and how it concluded, he said- "We started the shoot in 2019 December and shot till March 2020 to complete 40% of the work. After the immediate lockdown, we continued it for one year from December 2020. Finally we could complete by March 2021"
When asked if it is only going to deal with sports drama, Gopichand said- "This is a film with sports drama and I did not do this kind till now. This also deals with different commercial elements and not just the sports. There are some sentimental aspects of how to encourage and give freedom to women as well. The backdrop of this story starts in a village that goes till Delhi"
Exchanging his knowledge of film making, he shared- "If we do meticulously, cinema is a profitable business. Many fail in doing this with calculation due to various conditions and circumstances. Producers shouldn't agree to jump into the shooting process without getting the clarity of what actually the director wants to show. Pre-planning is the most crucial part in film making. One has to go to every location, observe and plan each and every shot. All that it costs is only the paper and time while writing the production plan. It saves a lot of producer's money. I got tired telling this to everyone. But I worked with such focussed directors in my career. They are too good. Profitable film happens only when the director has clarity and the producer has the visualization capacity of what the director is going to deliver".
