"Jigarthanda Double X," directed by Karthik Subbaraju and starring Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah, is set to be released this weekend.
During the film's promotions, Karthik Subbaraju also discussed Ram Charan's "Game Changer."
The story for "Game Changer" was written by Karthik Subbaraju.
"When Shankar sir asked if I had any scripts, I pitched a political story that needed to be made on a large scale. Shankar sir liked the basic concept and expanded it in his grandiose way," explained Karthik Subbaraju.
The reason for not directing the story himself was given by the director.
"It's a straightforward socio-political story. The canvas is quite huge. The plot requires a substantial budget and a big star. The film found the right casting and director in Shankar and Ram Charan," he said.
Despite being a political story, the film does not take sides. According to our sources, the film discusses the need for significant changes in the election system.
