The Andhra Pradesh government has significantly benefited Game Changer by approving a hike in ticket prices.
In a special G.O., the government announced that a 1 AM benefit show on January 10, with ticket prices set at ₹600 (including GST), has been authorized.
On the release day, six shows will be permitted, with an additional hike in ticket prices.
Multiplex screens will see a ₹175 increase per ticket, while single-screen theaters will have an additional ₹135 added to the existing ticket prices.
From January 11 to January 23, the same ticket prices will be applicable, but the number of daily shows will be reduced to five.
This significant hike is expected to result in massive opening collections for Game Changer.
Meanwhile, the Telangana government has reiterated its stance against ticket price hikes and benefit shows.
