Shriya Saran who mostly played glamorous roles in her long career seems to have decided to do roles that will have scope for her to perform.
For the first time in her career, she is doing a Pan India film being made simultaneously in all south languages and also in Hindi.
Titled Gamanam, first look poster of the film is dropped today on the occasion of Shriya’s birthday.
Draped in saree, Shriya looks traditional in the first look poster. Gazing hopelessly, she appears miserable here.
The title and the poster gives an impression that, the film is going to be a matured family entertainer.
Gamanam is not a regular commercial film and it is a real life drama with a different concept.
Cinematographer Gnana Shekar VS is pooling resources for the film in partnership with Ramesh Karutoori and Venki Pushadapu.
Lady director Sujana Rao is helming the female-centric film, while Ilayaraja scores music.
Gamanam’s shooting part is already wrapped up and presently post-production works are happening.
The film’s other cast and crew will be revealed later.
