The big films in Tollywood run by the support of two big financiers Satya Rangayya and Venkatram Reddy. They run a finance syndicate and now 90% of their operations are stopped.
There are other syndicates like Sudheer and Sobhan but they can't cater to the demand of Rs 50 Cr and Rs 100 Cr. So, big films are now facing the scarcity of funds.
On the other hand a finance agreement was already made for the upcoming NTR- Koratala film, much before the release of Acharya itself. Sources say that Satya Rangayya released some advance amounts as well.
But now the situation changed after the result of 'Acharya'. Producer Sudhakar is new to Tollywood and Koratala's credibility is shattered. So, the sources say that to continue the finance support, Hari of NTR Arts also should sign on the agreements.
It may be difficult for the film to get 100% finance from Satya Rangayya with changed circumstances. So, they have to plan for some huge investment on a personal level. Producer Sudhakar is on that job.
The film is going to be a pan India product in multiple languages. It is planned to make the film in 9 different languages with a huge multilingual casting. So, this film needs a lot of funding from the non theatrical pre sales and some area sales.
The film is planned to take to the sets in November when everything falls in place.
