Chiranjeevi promoted the film. KTR spoke highly about it in the pre-release event. The content in the film is also not disastrous. But somehow, the audience didn't patronize the film in the way it should be. Finally it ended up as a flop in Sharwanand's career.
Sharwanand has been doing promising subjects for quite sometime but success is not favoring him.
For example "Janu" is a super hit film in Tamil, But it ended up as a dud in Telugu despite Samantha playing the female lead with him.
His earlier film "Padi Padi Leche Manasu" also failed in spite of Sai Pallavi pairing up with him. Before that "Rana Rangam" also toppled at the box office though Kajal acted in it.
Now Sreekaram also disappointed business wise. It did a Rs 16 Cr of pre release business, but so far collected only 9.6 Cr worldwide.
Now Sharwa has pinned hopes on Maha Samudram and Adallu Meeku Joharlu. We have to wish him back to success with those films.
