Film industry is hopeful of resuming work from June. As the lockdown is slowly being lifted in phases, Government may permit to shoot films and television serials and game shows from June.
However, there will be few restrictions on how many persons to work on the sets at a time. Permissions will be given for shooting with limited crew until the situation comes fully under control.
Theaters will remain shut for a couple of months, opine analysts. Government may not allow entertainment business and public transport to operate as before until there are no new cases reported in respective states.
Film industry will look to wrap up the pending work so that they can make the most of the rush at the theaters once the restrictions on movie theaters are totally lifted.
Rajamouli will look to finish off #RRR’s balance work if the shootings resume from June. He is hopeful of releasing the film on Jan 8, 2021 if there are no further delays.
However, this is just a hopeful scenario and the restrictions may continue if there is rapid raise in the corona cases by the end of this month.
