The most hyped bandh with the demand to cancel the film shootings failed on the first day itself. Almost 18-20 films continued their shootings without any resistance.
The irony is Dil Raju's 'Varasudu' and Naga Vamshi's 'Sir' also continued their shoots. Both these producers are the head and a key member of the Producers' Guild respectively.
But they played their over intelligence by saying that both of the films are being made in Tamil with an idea to dub into Telugu, and so they don't fall under any strike.
This led to a furore in the Guild itself. The other members raised objections on the logic of Dil Raju and Naga Vamshi.
On the other hand the The Federation said that it didn't receive any message from the Chamber to cancel the shoots.
On a whole, the shootings are not getting cancelled. The film industry is running on the points of 'Survival of the fittest' and 'Might is Right'.
