Prabhas and director Hanu Raghavapudi have joined forces for a historical fictional thriller, a relatively new genre in the Telugu film industry.
In Hollywood, filmmakers like Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie have explored similar genres.
Hanu Raghavapudi is delving into this genre with historical themes inspired by Subhas Chandra Bose’s freedom struggle and the Nizam rule in Hyderabad.
Although he remains tight-lipped about the storyline, Raghavapudi mentioned that the backdrop and universe in which the story is set will offer a completely new experience for Telugu audiences.
"We have created a never-before-seen world for this film," he added.
The film, tentatively titled Fauji, is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and stars Maanvi Ismail as the female lead. Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music.
