Samantha, who had recovered from Myositis, began working on two projects: "Kushi" and "Citadel." She was determined to finish them.

She is also nearly finished with "Citadel," a web series.
So, she will take a long break from work. Samantha will not sign any new Telugu or Bollywood films. She will use this time to regain her health and seek additional treatment.
According to reports, she recently signed a film deal with Siddhu Jonnalagadda, but this is not true. In fact, she returned advance payments to producers she had previously taken, stating that she would not honor the commitments for a period of time.
She will be completely free of work for a year.
