Success stories truly inspire the people around. But this story is something different. He is not an actor or a sports personality or an industrialist. He was a film magazine editor in 2011 and now became a multi millionaire who owns a posh bungalow, luxury cars ranging from Jaguar XJL to Defender and many more.
How could he earn all that in a span of 11 years what he actually does?
When we approached Ravi Kumar Panasa asking the same question, he said- "My only dream since my childhood is to earn big. I have seen the humble life of my father as a government employee. I also saw how the rich are respected in society. When anyone asked me in my childhood what I would like to become, my answer was in one word- 'rich'.
I understood, connecting with the right people at the right time is the only way to become rich. I learned that the people who act as bridges between biggies in society earn more than anybody else. So, I placed myself as a bridge and started a liaison business.
To get a break through I started my life as a film magazine editor with Rs 8000 as monthly salary. I got an opportunity to meet biggies in the industry and eventually I became a PRO for better proximity and to develop personal relations. That paved me a path to become acquainted with industrialists and multi millionaires.
Film actors, industrialists and other bigshots in the society need someone to negotiate certain deals of sales and purchases. I became that 'someone' by connecting the dots. I have no talent of my own to boast other than connecting the dots and making things happen".
Well, anyone would get the doubt if a liaison business can make someone this rich.
Clearing the doubt Panasa continued, "Everybody has 24 hours of time. But how much we value every minute makes us choose the kind of people. I have chosen to deal with the people who talk only in terms of hundreds and thousands of crores. There ends the game".
He also said, "With whatever I earned I owned everything I dreamt for. Then I got into the business of my own in the sectors of Infra and Construction. I am also launching the biggest liquor store in South India shortly. Just not to miss the glitz and glitter in life, I am getting into film production as well. On a whole I have everything today but I miss my Dad to show this success to him. That's the only pain in my heart".
Finally when asked about his involvement in a drugs scandal a few years ago he said, "That was the worst phase in my life. One of my acquaintances was caught in a drug case. With a hope that I would bring him out with my political connections, he told my name to the police stating that I am a partner in his crime. The police did their duty and produced me in the Court along with that guy. The Court remanded me as a process. Later the Hon Court gave the verdict that I have got no connection in this entire episode and acquitted me. This is the pity of life. Anybody can be pulled into anything. The media that shows interest in reporting about a person when remanded, hardly pays attention when he gets acquitted".
Ravi Kumar Panasa also made a video on him in James Bond style.
When asked how he feels if he gets trolled, he said with a loud laugh, "Trolling is also part of publicity these days. My success can be taken as an inspiration or can just be trolled. Everyone has a choice".
