Many Tollywood, political, and business personalities were in Dubai yesterday to attend an event related to film producer A. Mahesh Reddy's son. Well, it wasn’t the wedding as reported earlier, but a Sangeet party.
Upon probing, some interesting details were leaked. All the celebrities attended with their spouses and received luxurious return gifts.
It was said that the women received diamond jewelry, while the men were gifted expensive wristwatches worth more than Rs 25 lakh.
An insider revealed that these celebrities flew in not only due to their friendship with the host but also with expectations of extravagant return gifts.
"Just like children love attending birthday parties for cake and return gifts, adults are no different. Even at middle-class weddings, guests look forward to receiving sarees or steel vessels as gifts. Naturally, celebrities receive gifts of jaw-dropping value," the insider justified.
Some of the attendees included Chiranjeevi, Mr. and Mrs. NTR, Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita Dhulipala, Mr. and Mrs. Nithiin, Mr. and Mrs. Varun Tej, Akhil Akkineni with his fiancée, Nagarjuna, Amala, and many more.
Here’s an update: Many assumed that Nara Lokesh also attended the Sangeet event, but he was actually in Dubai to watch a cricket match and strengthen ties with ICC Chairman Jay Shah, son of Amit Shah.
