Babai and Abbai Venkatesh and Rana will be seen together as a father and son in the upcoming Netflix original Rana Naidu which will have its world premiere on March 10th.
While Venky’s character name is Naga, Rana will be seen in the titular role as a Rana Naidu, a celebrity fixer.
Rana in his exclusive interview with us says, “About my character, he is a trouble-shooter for business people. He does private settlements in a corporate way.”
The presence of Venkatesh and Rana together in the series brought additional buzz for the movie.
“Rana Naidu is a never seen before dark family drama. I felt shocked when I first heard the story. Everyone has problems with others in the family.”
As shown in the trailer, the series will have lead actors using foul language.
“We didn’t find the dialogues objectional while dubbing in Hindi. But we felt a bit discomfortable while dubbing in Telugu. However, the foul dialogue has been toned down for the Telugu version, compared to Hindi.”
Rana suggests the audience not to watch the show along with their family.
“It’s better to watch the show separately. There may be some discomfort if watched with family. This is not a story to be made in cinema. It’s an apt one for OTT.”
