Amazon is likely to undertake a layoff exercise in India that could impact at least a few hundred jobs, The Economic Times reported citing people aware of the matter.
"The layoffs might be relatively higher as compared to peers like Facebook-parent Meta and others," a person was quoted as saying. Amazon is reportedly laying off nearly 10,000 people worldwide.
