Filmmaker Mani Ratnam has revealed that when he had a conversation with producer Subaskaran about 'Ponniyin Selvan: I', he agreed to back the film within two minutes under the banner Lyca Productions. He also thanked the entire crew for relentlessly working on the film. 'Ponniyin Selvan: I' has reportedly collected about ₹500 crore worldwide.
'Wide Ball' And 'No Ball' In Politics
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh used cricket analogies to criticise opposition parties, dubbing Congress a "Wide Ball" and AAP a "No Ball". He added that the BJP is the only "good length delivery" on the pitch of politics.
