Director Boyapati For Naga Chaitanya

Naga Chaitanya who is awaiting the release of Thank You will next be working with director Venkat Prabhu for his Telugu-Tamil bilingual film.

While this film marks Chay’s Tamil debut, it is first straight Tamil movie for director Venkat Prabhu.

Krithi Shetty is confirmed to play Naga Chaitanya’s love interest and this is their second movie together, after Bangarraju.

NC22’s opening has been held today with pooja ceremony in presence of several special guests.

Lingusamy and Siva Rama Krishna handed over the film’s script to the makers, while Boyapati Srinu sounded the clap and Rana switched on the camera for the first shot on Chay and Krithi.

Tentatively titled NC22, the movie will be bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi under Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner.

The film will be technically high in standard; thus, the makers are hiring leading technicians for all the crafts.

Along with Yuvan Shankar Raja, his father maestro Ilayaraja will also be working to provide soundtracks and background score.

NC22 will start rolling soon and the makers will divulge more details later.
