Dil Raju's One Hour Policy

Dil Raju's One Hour Policy

If there is one producer in South India who gets respect from biggest stars to top directors and distributors, it is Dil Raju. He works 18 hours daily. Even big directors have to narrate the script and take final approval.

Now, he is producing many small-budgeted movies with newcomers and upcoming talent. How would he find time to bankroll them? And how to approach him to narrate a story.

Here is the answer. Dil Raju has a policy. He will give an hour’s time for new writers and directors. In the stipulated hour, they have to narrate their stories.

If he likes basic structure and the narration, he will give approval for further expansion and they will be paid money during that period. The final call will be taken after they come up with fulls script.

The key point is that the new writers and directors have to finish their total narration within one hour and impress him.

You may have a great story but if you fail to convince him in that one hour, you don't get a chance. So, the writers and directors should be well-prepared before narrating him.

But the positive aspect is that he will definitely try to cater his time to newcomers in his busy schedule every month.
