For the past two days, social media is abuzz with the speculation that Amazon Prime has come up with a stunning offer to Dil Raju.
It was reported that the streaming company offered the producer Rs 100 crore to get the direct digital release rights of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie “Vakeel Saab” on their platform.
Amazon Prime is bagging Bollywood movies as well but it has not yet snatched an A-list star movie in Telugu.
But it turns out to be mere speculation. There was no such deal.
“Vakeel Saab” will not release on an OTT platform.
Amazon recently streamed Dil Raju’s production “V” featuring Nani and Sudheer Babu in the lead roles and the film got negative reviews. It clinched the deal from Dil Raju for about Rs 30 crore.
Pawan Kalyan will not accept such a plan even if Dil Raju gets such an offer because it is his comeback movie and he needs to get connect to with his fans and audiences again.
So, the only option is to have a theatrical release. This whole buzz about the OTT offer seems to be mere speculation.
However, fans have not started trending the reports that Dil Raju had rejected the offer.
