Dhanush’s upcoming period action-adventure Captain Miller was in the Sankranthi race initially.
While the original Tamil version hit the cinemas today ahead of Sankranthi, the Telugu version is postponed.
Due to heavy competition in Telugu during the festival season, the makers postponed it for nearly a couple of weeks. The movie will grace the cinemas on January 25th.
Asian Multiplexes Pvt Ltd and Suresh Productions acquired the Telugu rights and they are planning a big release in AP and TS.
The teaser and trailer of the movie presented Dhanush in a ferocious avatar. Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, and Sundeep Kishan played important roles.
Directed by Arun Matheswaran on Sathya Jyothi Films, Captain Miller is the costliest movie for Dhanush.
