Dhanush, the Tamil actor, has reportedly built a new house worth Rs 150 crore in Chennai's Poes Garden area, which is also home to Rajinikanth.
The actor recently hosted a housewarming ceremony, which was attended by his parents, and pictures from the event have gone viral.
In the pictures, Dhanush can be seen wearing a blue kurta and pyjama during the puja, while his parents are wearing traditional outfits.
The pictures also reveal that the house has a massive flight of stairs, indicating that it is a duplex mansion. Dhanush's fan club president, Subramaniam Siva, was also present at the ceremony and shared the first pictures online.
The filmmaker wrote in Tamil, "My younger brother Dhanush’s new house is giving me a feel of a temple. In his lifetime, he has provided his parents a paradise-like home. Even more success and achievements will continue to chase you. May you live long and remain an inspiration for the young generation in honoring parents."
He was also seen giving his parents gifts for the new house.
Fans have been pouring in their congratulations and good wishes for Dhanush and his family. Dhanush has been in the news for his recent release, Sir, which is set in the 90s and explores the impact of the privatization of the education system.
