Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka opened to huge collections on day one and it became the biggest day one grosser for the actor.
The movie witnessed a slight drop on day two which is a common scenario for every movie on the second day. Surprisingly, Dhamaka collected bigger numbers on day three than on day one.
It’s a very rare thing that a movie performs better on day three, compared to what it collected on its opening day. Dhamaka minted 25% higher on day three than the day one gross.
Although it is a commercial potboiler, the movie had all the ingredients to gratify the masses as well as families.
Interestingly, family audiences are also coming in big numbers, since the movie has sufficient comedy.
Ravi Teja’s energetic performance, Sreeleela’s dances, songs scored by Bheems, and huge promotions from People’s Media Factory played key roles in the movie making strong business in its first weekend.
The movie directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina is expected to continue its momentum and the New Year holidays are also going to have a positive impact on movie collections.
