Devi Sri Prasad is riding high on success once again. In recent months, he has delivered two blockbuster albums—first for Pushpa 2: The Rule and now for Thandel.
However, the top music director expressed his frustration with producer Y. Ravi of Mythri Movie Makers after being accused of delaying his work on Pushpa 2.
On a public stage, Devi Sri Prasad openly stated that the producer’s complaints were baseless and emphasized that no one could take away his work or credit.
He was also involved in a disagreement with the producers of Pushpa 2 over the title of "Original Background Score," despite significant contributions from music directors like Ajaneesh Loknath and Sam CS.
Thankfully, the situation has now cooled down.
Director Sukumar publicly declared that he would never direct a film without Devi Sri Prasad as the music composer.
He also confirmed that Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music for his next project featuring Ram Charan, which will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Despite their differences, Devi Sri Prasad and Mythri Movie Makers will have to continue working together if their collaboration with Sukumar remains intact.
