'Dasara' Utter Flop In Pan India Level

The Telugu film 'Dasara' performed well in its home circuit and was a major success in the Naizam region.

However, it was released as a pan-India movie in various languages. Nani and Keerty Suresh made significant efforts to promote the film at a national level in different languages, with the producer investing approximately Rs 7 Cr towards the national campaign. Nevertheless, the film could only earn Rs 1.2 Cr when all the languages were combined.

While the song 'Chamkeela Angeelsi' was a hit in Telugu, it failed to strike a chord with audiences from other languages.

Unlike what happened with 'Pushpa,' where the songs were popular in all the languages, 'Dasara' didn't experience the same phenomenon.

Although Keerty Suresh is a popular name in Tamil Nadu, the Tamil audience didn't exhibit much enthusiasm to watch the film.

Deekshit Shetty, the Kannada actor, didn't contribute in any way to attracting the Kannada audience to the theaters. Similarly, Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko, who played the primary antagonist, was unsuccessful in pulling the Kerala audience to the theaters.

Despite the presence of pan-South India stars, the film 'Dasara' was a complete failure in entire South India, and needless to say, the result was no different in Hindi.
