NTR avoided the Dasara competition by shifting his film “Devara: Part 1” to September 27, 2024.
Following this change, the makers of Suriya’s “Kanguva” officially announced their release date as October 10th and recently unveiled a trailer.
Suriya and his team were aiming for a massive pan-Indian release with no competition during the Dasara festival period. However, their plans were disrupted by superstar Rajinikanth.
Rajinikanth’s film “Vettaiyan” is set to release on October 10th, as announced today.
“Vettaiyan,” which stars Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. It is also a major pan-Indian movie.
This sets up a direct clash between Suriya and Rajinikanth during the upcoming Dasara festival.
Apart from the smaller film "Pottel," no other Telugu films will be competing, making it a head-to-head battle between Rajinikanth and Suriya.
