Telugu veteran Nandamuri Balakrishna's action-packed drama Daaku Maharaaj continues its strong performance at the domestic box office.
After an impressive opening day, grossing over ₹30 crores, the film emerged as the actor's second-biggest opener.
On its second day, the movie maintained solid traction, with early estimates indicating a collection of ₹13–15 crores gross in the Telugu states, reflecting a 50% drop from Sunday.
The overall Monday collection is expected to reach ₹15–17 crores gross. With this, Daaku Maharaaj's two-day domestic total stands at ₹45+ crores gross, setting a fantastic pace ahead of the lucrative Pongal holiday period.
The film is poised to dominate the box office over the next few days and aims to cross the ₹100 crores gross mark during this festive season.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan's political-action drama Game Changer is struggling to maintain momentum.
On its fourth day (Monday), early estimates suggest the film will earn around ₹10 crores gross across India, with ₹6–7 crores gross coming from the Telugu states.
The Hindi version, which performed reasonably well over the weekend, saw a significant drop on Monday, with net collections in the range of ₹1.50–1.75 crores.
Despite an initial buzz, the film has been underperforming overall, accumulating approximately ₹115 crores gross domestically after four days.
With the Pongal/Sankranthi holidays ahead, Game Changer has limited time to recover and capitalize on the festive season.
