Megastar Chiranjeevi is busy these days visiting VIPs, requesting them to watch his latest film, “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy,” shot on the life of one of the early freedom fighters.
The film was produced by his actor-son, Ram Charan, and it is a multi-lingual movie, released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam.
Chiranjeevi, as part of the promotion of the film is meeting some top politicians of the country, inviting them to watch this movie.
As it has some historical significance connected to the country’s early, or rather the first, freedom movement, his interest to spread the message is clear.
The actor had met AP chief minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy recently and invited him to watch the film. Jaganmohan Reddy accepted the invitation and is likely to watch the film at the earliest to suit to his convenience.
The actor is also likely to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and others and invite them to watch the film. He might even meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi too, if he gets the appointment.
But, the big question is that Chiranjeevi had not met former chief minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu so far. He did not even meet former IT minister Nara Lokesh and invited him to watch the film!
In fact, Lokesh was one of the first to make a positive comment on “Sye Raa” movie. Still, he is not invited to watch the movie.
Hope, Megastar would soon meet both Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh to watch his film, before they begin to feel that they are ignored and their presence is not felt even by actors.
