The birthday of megastar Chiranjeevi, which falls on Sunday, is a festive occasion for millions of his fans.
They take up various activities like blood donation, distribution of fruits to the patients in hospitals and distribution of clothes to the poor etc.
This time, Chiranjeevi asked his fans to adopt an innovative programme on his birthday.
He appealed to the fans over Twitter to participate in Green India Challenge, initiated by Telangana Rashtra Samithi MP J Santosh Kumar on August 22.
He said to decrease natural calamities, to check the pollution and for the well-being of future generations, planting trees is the only solution.
“To do this, all of you should participate in Green India Challenge programme by planting three saplings and tag me on the twitter,” Chiranjeevi urged his fans.
Responding to the megastar’s tweet, Santosh Kumar expressed his gratitude and said the tweets showed the love Chiranjeevi has for the protection of the environment. He desired that the fans should plant saplings and give them as a gift to the megastar.
The MP suggested that every fan should tag Chiranjeevi. He also wished that the mega Star who enthralled crores of fans should be blessed with health and wealth for many years to come.
