Chiranjeevi's 'Vishwambhara': Delayed or Put on Hold?

Chiranjeevi's 'Vishwambhara': Delayed or Put on Hold?

A few years ago, after Bhola Shankar flopped, Chiranjeevi completely changed his lineup.

He shelved the film with Venky Kudumula and also put aside the project with Kalyan Krishna, which was supposed to be produced by his daughter.

This reshuffled the order of his films. Initially, movies were promoted with hashtags like Mega155 and Mega156.

Even Mega157, which referred to the film directed by Vassishta, lost its tag once the title Vishwambhara was announced.

Now, the Mega157 tag has resurfaced, this time for Chiranjeevi’s film with Anil Ravipudi.

The project was officially launched today, raising speculation about the status of Vishwambhara. Some wonder whether Anil Ravipudi’s movie will release first.

However, there are gossips making rounds that Vishwambhara is in trouble, either due to content issues or because the OTT rights have not yet been finalized.

The Chiranjeevi camp reportedly has its own doubts about the film’s fate, which is why they sidelined it for the time being and announced Anil Ravipudi's film as Mega157 instead of Mega158.

Whatever the case, unless the makers clarify that naming Anil Ravipudi's film as Mega157 instead of Mega158 was a mistake, doubts about Vishwambhara’s release will only increase.

Fans and buyers may start viewing Vishwambhara with skepticism and lose interest. We need to see if the makers admit it was a mistake.

Even if it is a mistake, it's not a small one — but a costly one.
