Megastar Chiranjeevi’s last film Acharya was a flop and buzz was not so high on GodFather prior to its release, given it’s a remake. Yet, the movie is off to good start.
Released on Dasara, GodFather received good reports from critics as well as the audience. Particularly, the masses are ecstatic to see Chiranjeevi in a never-seen-before character.
GodFather has grossed 38 Crore worldwide on day one and it’s a good start considering the low buzz before the release.
Director Mohan Raja has made enough changes to the script so that the movie gives a new experience to those who watched Lucifer as well.
The word of mouth is positive; thus, GodFather is going to have a long run and Dussehra holidays are going to be a big factor for the extended first weekend.
Furthermore, the movie has no competition at the box office. So, the domination will continue for at least two weeks.
