Not the words but the figures and statistics prove certain facts. Out of the last five films of Chiranjeevi, three films Khaidi 150, Sye Raa and Waltair Veerayya could easily surpass US$2 Million mark like a cake walk.
The only films that didn't cross this mark are Acharya and Godfather. It should be underlined with an average or below the average stuff, Chiranjeevi could be able to achieve this feat. The critics also didn't praise the film to see such a traction at theatres.
Moreover, the present day Telugu American audience who stand up as hardcore patrons of Chiranjeevi's films are not of any older generation but are youngsters.
Another point to note is that the festival holidays is an Indian subject but not of American. Still, the collections are happening in big way for Chiranjeevi's film.
This is to conclude that if Chiranjeevi comes up with an out and out comedy entertainer with a bit of action and a dash of sentiment and gets hailed by the critics as well, then there would be better traction at the US Box office. Hope Mega Star gives a thought.
On the other hand, the relatively young actor Mahesh Babu who is hailed as the most loved one by the American Telugus stopped at US$2 Million with his better positioned and better acclaimed films like Sarileru Neekevvaru and Sarkaru Vari Paata.
