Hero Suriya is one of the rare actors to have great market in Telugu and he is coming up with a mass action entertainer ET which will be hitting the screens on 10th of this month through Asian Multiplexes Pvt Ltd.
The film’s pre-release function was held in a grand manner with the entire team and several guests attending it.
Director Gopichand Malineni recalled an incident while Suriya was shooting for Singham. “I was then working for my first film and I went to the sets to meet Anushka. Suriya spoke to me for 10 minutes and he wished me all the luck. I’m a big fan of Singham.”
Boyapati Sreenu heaped praises on Suriya for his philanthropy works. “We Telugu audience encourage every movie, irrespective of the language. We treat it like our own film. After Rajinikanth, Telugu audience owned you (Suriya). I wish ET will become a big hit. If we both get time and if a right story is set, I wish to make a film with you. We have seen many blockbusters in Telugu and I hope ET will join the list.”
Rana recollected an incident of he and Suriya going out on a ride for four hours. “He gave me big lecture, after watching a film of mine. That really changed me in terms of choosing films. After that, I became Bhallaladeva and Danny. Sathyaraj is another favourite person in the film. I hope, Pandiraj will also do a straight film in Telugu.”
Suriya said, “I’m very happy that I’m part of Rana’s life. I became little bad boy, after spending some time with him. Always, Rana made me feel at home here in Hyderabad. I have to congratulate Telugu audience. You all have shown the Indian film industry how to brave the pandemic, from Akhanda to Pushpa to Bangarraju to Bheemla Nayak. We got the confidence, because of you. We got confidence to make and release films.
Chiranjeevi is my inspiration to start an NGO. I was able to do this because you gave me power and strength. All the previous films I chose were very special ones for me. Priyanka’s effort in the film was beautiful. Pandiraj started his journey long back with my own production house. We share beautiful relationship for long time. ET will not only have muscle; it will have lots of heart. It will definitely be a beautiful film to watch in theatres.”
