The Hindi remake of "Chatrapathi" was launched with much fanfare in 2021. Telugu hero Srinivas Bellamkonda is making his debut in Bollywood with this film. It was billed as Bellamkonda's first pan-Indian production.
However, the Hindi remake encountered numerous difficulties and finally, the film will see the light of day. According to the producers, the film will be released in the first week of May.
The Hindi remake is directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Dr Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios.
The leading duo is Sreenivas Bellamkonda and Nushrratt Bharuccha. In the action-drama, Sreenivas Bellamkonda will play Prabhas's role.
"Chatrapathi" was directed by Rajamouli and starred Prabhas. The film was released in 2005. VV Vinayak made necessary changes for the Hindi remake.
