Lovebirds Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are set to tie the knot in a grand winter wedding next month in December.
In an interesting twist, the couple appears to be following in the footsteps of Lady Superstar Nayanthara, who famously sold the rights to her wedding to Netflix for the documentary Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale.
Reports now suggest that Naga and Sobhita have struck a similar deal with the OTT giant.
According to a report by Asianet, Netflix has acquired the digital rights to stream Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita’s wedding for a staggering ₹50 crores. However, neither the Chaitanya family nor Netflix has officially confirmed the deal.
If true, this development positions the couple ahead of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, who sold the streaming rights to their wedding to Netflix for ₹25 crores.
This puts Naga and Sobhita’s deal at 100% higher value, highlighting the growing demand for exclusive celebrity wedding content.
The ceremony will reportedly take place at Hyderabad’s iconic Annapurna Studios, a venue chosen for its sentimental significance.
Founded by Naga Chaitanya’s grandfather, the legendary Akkineni Nageshwar Rao, Annapurna Studios holds a special place in the Akkineni family’s legacy.
The wedding is expected to be an intimate affair, attended only by close family and friends.
