The grief of parents when their son is battling blood cancer can be understood. It is always painful and deserves great empathy.
Holding a press meet at the Tirupati Press Club, the parents of 19-year-old Kaushik, who is fighting blood cancer, appealed to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan for help in saving their son.
This is acceptable and understandable up to that point. Any deserving family should be addressed and helped by the government.
In addition, the parents also appealed to Jr NTR for help, citing that Kaushik is his fan.
During the appeal, the parents mentioned that Kaushik is lamenting that he wants to live at least until the release of his hero's film Devara on September 27th.
Bringing up the film release topic during the press meet has somewhat diluted the gravity of the situation, resulting in mixed reactions from the public.
While this is one perspective, another question arises- Can money truly postpone anything unforeseen in these matters, until the desired date?
The government or Jr NTR may attempt to fund the treatment, but can they control the dates? This question has come up due to the parents' mention of the film release.
