There is no dispute in saying that Rajamouli never tasted any failure. Almost all of his films are blockbusters excepting one or two. But it is not the point of collection. It should be underlined whether the buyers are safe or not. When the buyers lose money, then what is so great about the collection whatever be the figure?
The buyers of RRR are too far from making a breakeven at present. The collections dropped badly from Tuesday. Though the collections are better in urban region, the picture in rural areas is pathetic. The semi urban regions are also recording poor collections.
The ticket price in some towns is around Rs 200 and Rs 265. So the families are afraid of to get into the theaters.
So far Vizag region collected a gross of Rs 20 Cr. Another Rs 6 Cr has to be collected here. East Godavari made a collection of Rs 10 Cr where another Rs 7 Cr has to be collected to do break even.
West Godavari collected Rs 9 cr and another Rs 5 Cr is yet to be done. Krishna district's plight is also same.
Guntur made Rs 13 Cr and another Rs 5 Cr is yet to be made. Nellore has to collect another Rs 3 Cr. The ceded region has to recover a mammoth Rs 16 Cr yet.
Coming to Naizam, everything is vague. Except Dil Raju and Sirish none other knows the actual figures. They may announce big numbers to please the heroes. It happened with the recent Bheemla Nayak as well. Though a big figure was announced, it is heard that Dil Raju shared with his friends that he lost Rs 3 Cr at the end.
The plight of RRR in Tamilnadu. Kerala and Karnataka is very bad. The reception is shockingly poor in these states. Karnataka collected half of the investment but Tamil Nadu couldn't even touch the half mark so far. Kerala's plight is also the same.
This weekend is the only time left to complete the target for this film in all the regions.
Coming to Telugu states, Ugadi and Sunday are the favorable days. The full run of the film may be declared to have completed by the coming Sunday as new films are coming up the subsequent weekend. Though a big task, let us hope Ugadi makes all the buyers of RRR safe.
