One of the most awaited movies of the season is ‘Uppena’ marking the debut of Vaishnav Tej. However, it appears this film is already causing trouble between two big names.
Well, this has to do with the film’s release in Nizam area. Here is the story as per industry insiders.
It is heard that ‘Uppena’ was actually taken by Dil Raju for 4 crores for distributing in Nizam area. While some say he gave 1 crore as advance, others say it was just an oral commitment.
The film was due for release in April but Covid spoiled the plans. And now as the film is gearing up for release it is heard that Dil Raju dropped a bomb.
He has reportedly stated he can’t honor the 4 crore commitment. As a result, the producers Mythri Movie Makers decided to distribute it and also make their debut in distribution field.
Now, it is heard that Dil Raju is not happy and he is demanding when the film was committed to him how can Mythri do this.
From their end, Mythri is reportedly saying it is because Dil Raju has refused, they have taken this decision. Only time will reveal how this issue will end.
