Dil Raju made many films and bagged countable hits. Vikram K Kumar, the director also directed the most complicated screenplays like Manam and scored hits.
Many assume that they will have proper judgement with whatever they do. But that is not always the case.
It is heard that Dil Raju had unscrupoulously cut down 30 minutes of the film on the editing table for the reason known to him. The edited episode might not have shot well or might have been not in sync with the narrative.
But the point is the total cost of that 30 min episode was Rs 6 Cr owing to the abroad shoot and the related expenses.
It is said that BVS Ravi, the writer of the film wanted to see the film as a universal subject and wrote in that pattern. But the director changed it as a personal subject as per his conviction.
Believing in him both the writer and the producer left the project to him. But finally the output was insipid.
Adding to this, it is also revealed off late that Thaman got vexed up by the fight between the producer and the director with regard to the judgement of songs.
Beyond all this, Vikram K Kumar shifted his focus on to a webseries project and left Thank You to the other technicians in the unit in the later stage.
Finally, the film lost the proper manouvering and crashed while landing.
