Bubblegum Refuses Censor's Plea

Bubblegum Refuses Censor's Plea

The GenZ love story Bubblegum which marks the debut of Roshan Kanakala is done with its censor formalities and the movie received an A certificate from the censor sleuths.

The officials recommended some cuts in the movie, in order to allocate a U/A certificate. They felt the movie that has a good message should be watched by family audiences as well.

However, the makers refused the plea, as they felt the cuts would do more harm. Apart from disturbing the flow, the intensity will be lost, if those sequences are chopped off.

The makers claim Bubblegum has some lip-lock and intimate scenes, and they were not forcibly included either. They’re part of the story, and the makers encompassed them to give it a natural touch.

So, they feel positive mouth talk after the release would bring the audience to the theatres, whereas youth will anyway come to watch the movie. 2:28 hours is the final duration.

Ravikanth Perepu directed the movie under Maheshwari Movies and People Media Factory banners.

The teaser, trailer, and songs of the movie received well and the debutant Roshan Kanakala impressed everyone with his flawless performance.

Bubblegum is due for release in another 6 days on December 29th.
