Comrade Film Factory recently announced their third production Baapu starring Brahmaji in a lead role with Daya helming the project, through the first look poster.
Today, Rashmika Mandanna released the film’s teaser, offering a glimpse into the world of Baapu.
The teaser immediately captivates with a thought-provoking conversation between a father and son, discussing the ultimate sacrifice for the family.
The tension builds as we’re introduced to the rest of the quirky family members and their unique personalities.
But just when the emotional depth seems to take center stage, the teaser takes a sharp turn into dark humor. The family, along with the villagers, are seen mourning the presumed loss of the family head, only for him to wake up, much to their astonishment and disappointment.
This intriguing blend of dark humour and emotional resonance is what sets Baapu apart, as suggested by the teaser.
Along with Brahmaji, the film also stars Amani, Balagam Sudhakar Reddy, Dhanya Balakrishna, Mani Aegurla, and Avasarala Srinivas, all of whom make their presence felt.
Vasu Pendem’s striking cinematography and RR Dhruvan’s haunting background score are other positive aspects.
Produced by Raju and CH. Bhanu Prasad Reddy, Baapu is set to hit theaters on February 21st.
